Everything you need to know about Kodia, our products, pricing, and how we handle your data.

About Kodia

Kodia is a Swiss ambulatory billing platform with two products. Kodia Chat provides instant, referenced billing guidance across TARDOC, ambulatory forfaits, and ICD-10. Kodia Audit reviews billing activity at scale to surface inconsistencies, missed opportunities, and patterns that deserve follow-up.
Kodia Chat is for day-to-day billing questions: ask about a TARDOC code, check cumulation rules, or describe a clinical situation and get a referenced answer in seconds. Kodia Audit is for structured review at scale: analyze thousands of billing records to find coding inconsistencies, missed billable elements, and recurring patterns across providers or time periods.
Kodia uses AI to interpret billing questions, retrieve relevant information from official Swiss billing catalogs, and structure answers or review outputs. Every response is grounded in real catalog data, not general knowledge. Kodia is designed to support human billing decisions, not replace them.
Kodia works across three official Swiss ambulatory billing catalogs: TARDOC (fee-for-service tariff for outpatient medical care), ambulatory forfaits (bundled payment tariffs), and ICD-10-GM (diagnosis classification codes). You can browse all three directories for free without registration.
No. Kodia supports coding and billing review by surfacing referenced information and structured findings. Final validation, coding decisions, and billing responsibility remain with the healthcare organization. Kodia is designed to assist professional judgement, not replace it.

Kodia Chat

Describe a clinical situation or ask a billing question. Kodia searches the official TARDOC, ambulatory forfait, and ICD-10-GM catalogs, checks cumulation rules, and returns referenced codes with explanations. Every answer cites specific codes you can click to verify. You can ask follow-up questions in the same conversation.
Generic AI tools do not have access to official Swiss billing catalogs. Kodia searches the actual TARDOC, ambulatory forfait, and ICD-10-GM databases in real time, checks cumulation rules, filters results by your provider's qualifications (intrinsic values), and cites specific codes. Every answer is grounded in official catalog data, not general knowledge.
Kodia references official catalog data and checks cumulation rules, intrinsic values, and quantity restrictions. However, AI-assisted guidance is not infallible. Final billing decisions remain the responsibility of the medical practice. Always verify before submitting invoices.

Kodia Audit

We start by defining a limited scope together: objectives, the population or time period to review, and the questions the pilot should answer. We then align on data inputs, run the analysis on real data, and review the findings with you. No commitment required beyond the pilot itself.
Kodia Audit is designed for teams that review ambulatory billing at scale: practices and clinics, billing and finance teams, group practices and networks, and healthcare organizations looking to monitor billing quality over time.

Privacy & data

No clinical content is stored by default. Kodia Chat queries are processed in real time and discarded. Only account information, referenced code IDs, and audit logs are retained. Chat history sync is available as an opt-in feature with explicit consent under FADP. For Kodia Audit, data handling is defined as part of the pilot scope.
Kodia's application and database are hosted in Switzerland. To generate answers, queries are processed by our AI subprocessor in the EU (without storage). Only referenced codes and audit logs are stored — in Switzerland. Kodia operates under Swiss jurisdiction.
